Giddy Up!

Riders of all ages are encouraged to mount up and hit the trail.

Trail Etiquette is to greet a horse and it’s rider.  This reassures the horse you are not a predator!

Trail Improvements

In 2009, the El Dorado Trail Improvement project was selected for the 2009 SACOG Salutes! Special Recognition Award.

In 2010, this trestle segment of the El Dorado Trail was awarded the ACSE 2009 History and Heritage Project of the Year!

Looking at Future Trail Benefits

As the El Dorado Trail campaigns for more improvements to its remaining tracked areas, the excitement among locals and tourists grows. Imagining the day when our entire trail is finished, the mind wonders to all sorts of possibilities. Looking to other beautifully converted trails, it is easy to see why there is so much support for our own.

One such trail that ‘has it all’ is nearby Coyote Creek; this trail is well worth a visit for all those that are curious as to the benefits El Dorado’s Trail will eventually bring to its surrounding areas.
